Okay, but only if I can then use my incredible creature powers to find you and dig you back out. Or you know, at least bring you snacks and Faygo or something. …What do you mean I don’t have creature powers? >.> Of course, I do.
I had a dream earlier about a giant floating, slightly more industrialized version of Thneedville (complete with song, thanks subconscious.. ). It pumped smog into the atmosphere, and every time the area it was at got too smogulated it would restart itself, whole brand new city even though the old one was still good, just thrown away somewhere. (Things that make sense only in dreams, right?)
I’m not sure if I was in Thneedville in the dream or an outside observer, but either way I found myself wondering if the Once-ler was watching this from wherever he was, cringing every time the city did something wasteful, just thinking that… “I did this. I started it down this path, and I can no longer look on it…”
And then, in full wakefullness, I look back on those ponderings and see that it could be said about the movie too (and hell, even the book). So I wonder…
